Skyimage is a premier provider of aerial filming and photography services in the North East region, utilizing cutting-edge remote-controlled multi-rotor UAVs, or drones. We have obtained aerial permissions from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), enabling us to operate in compliance with regulations.
Our equipment is equipped with advanced gyro-stabilization and full 360° 3-axis capabilities, allowing us to capture ultra-smooth, cinematic footage at up to 4k resolution. With the use of a video downlink, our clients can view real-time aerial footage on the ground, giving them full control of filming angles and framing.

CAA Approval and Insurances
Skyimage is fully covered by a public liability insurance of £5m to operate unmanned aerial systems (UAS) at heights of up to 400ft (120m). We have obtained the necessary permissions for aerial work from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and our team of pilots are certified with BNUCs and GVC qualifications. Our UAS operations are conducted in strict compliance with safety and operational regulations. It should be noted that it is a legal obligation for companies conducting commercial drone operations to obtain approval from the CAA, and the designated pilot must possess proper training, licensing, and insurance coverage. Failure to adhere to these regulations can result in penalties imposed on both the operator and the client. We strongly advise our clients to verify the credentials of the drone operator to ensure compliance with these requirements.
